Cornelius Kierstede Bowl 1700-1710, Met Museum

About us,

The New York Silver Society was founded in 1994 to encourage research on silver topics and promote an exchange of information about fine and antique silver through lectures, seminars, and symposia. Today, thirty years later, NYSS continues to offer members a roster of auction previews, exhibition tours, lectures, seminars, and many other events, both in-person and online. Members also have opportunities to meet fellow silver, metal, and jewelry collectors, connoisseurs, students, scholars, and enthusiasts, exchange information, and share in the joy and appreciation of precious metals.
